Events promoter and National Resistance Movement (NRM) mobiliser Balaam Byarugahara has congratulated President Yoweri Museveni upon clinching what he referred to as a win of the Supreme Court battle.
This followed the events that saw the National Unity Platform (NUP) president Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu request his lawyers to withdraw his election petition from the Supreme Court and head to the Court of Public Opinion.
According to Balaam Byarugahara, the yellow team can now put their focus ahead onto the 2026 General Elections where they plan to front President Yoweri Museveni for a seventh term in office.

Balaam suggests that they work towards the 2026 term as this has now been sorted but look ahead to 2026 where Museveni will be consolidating the country’s future and achievements.
