Despite Monday, March 8th, 2021 being the International Women’s Day, a recognized and celebrated public holiday both in Uganda and the rest of the world, students will continue with their UNEB exams.
According to the Executive Secretary of the Uganda Examinations Board, Mr Dan N. Odongo, the UCE students who take a weekend break will continue with their exams on Monday
The students begun their Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) exams on Monday, March 1st, 2021 which will be the determinant of their promotion to A-Level later this year.
They would have taken a break on Monday since it is a recognized public holiday world over but the circumstances under which they are doing the exams will not let them.
The UCE candidates are scheduled to sit for Chemistry(Paper 4) and IPS Art – Studio technology (Paper six ) on Monday
