Government Spokesperson Ofwono Opondo said Bobi Hon Kyagulanyi commonly known as Bobi Wine the president of National Unity Platform telling people to protest shows he is idle.
Appearing on NBS TV show Frontline, Ofwono Opondo said Bobi Wine has lost the parliamentary seat and even the presidential election meaning he has nothing to do and now calling in people to protest
“Since Kyagulanyi has lost his parliamentary seat and lacks what to do, he is now telling people to go to the streets as a way of finding what to do. His followers he is telling are also idle.” Ofwono Opondo said.
Ofwono Opondo added that government is ready to tame Bobi Wine and his supporters and they will be back to order.
“We as government shall tame Bobi Wine and his supporters. They will be back to order soon.” Ofono Opondo said
Opondo also said that anyone who tries to disturb the peace of Uganda will be dealt with because Ugandans want to work and have no time for protests.
