Democratic Party president, Norbert Mao has eulogized fallen Tanzanian President John Pombe Magufuli (RIP) and praised him for his great contribution to the East African country and Africa at large.

In his statement that he read out during a press brief, Norbert Mao praised Magufuli’s way of doing things in Tanzania as he delivered on his promises and even drove the country into middle income status ahead of schedule.
Mao added that his success should not be underlooked and/or overshadowed by the way he handled the COVID-19 pandemic in Tanzania.
It should be noted that the fallen Tanzanian president denounced the existence of COVID-19 in the country and let the country move with normal life even when the rest of the world went on its knees behind lock and key due to the global pandemic.
Magufui passed on almost a week ago at a hospital in Dar el Salaam after suffering from heart related conditions even though many pointed his death to COVID-19.
