The NRM vice chairperson for central region, Godfrey Ssuubi Kiwanda has eulogized fallen Tanzanian President John Pombe Joseph Magufili and likened his love for Tanzania to that of NRM-diehards in Uganda.

While appearing on NBS Television’s political show, The NBS Barometer, Minister Kiwanda said that if Magufuli was in Uganda, he would have been in the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) party and not a rebel NRM party member.

Minister Kiwanda added that Magufuli believed in his party and he believed in hardwork as well as self-reliance for his country.

“If Magufuli was in Uganda, he would be in NRM, not a rebel NRM. He believed in his party and he believed in hardwork. He believed in self reliance of his country. He believed in Pan Africanism.”
