Hon Robert Kyagulanyi commonly known as Bobi Wine the president of National Unity Platform has sent a condolence message to Tanzania following the death of their president Pombe John Magufuli.
Bobi Wine today morning went to the High Commission of the United Republic of Tanzania in Uganda and signed the condolence book for the late Magufuli.
After the signing Bobi Wine went ahead and posted on his Facebook official pages thanking the late John Pombe Magufuli for the hard work saying he wasn’t perfect but he loved his country.
“We went to the High Commission of the United Republic of Tanzania in Uganda where we signed the condolence book for the late President John Pombe Magufuli. President Magufuli was not perfect, but he loved his country and his people.” Bobi Wine posted.
Bobi Wine said Magufuli didn’t wait to be in power for 30 or 40 years to do good for his people because in only six years he turned the fortunes of his people.
“In only six years, Magufuli turned the fortunes of his people around and proved that one does not need to be in power for 30 or 40 years to develop a nation. “.
Bobi Wine noted that he hopes the new leadership of Tanzania will continue where President Magufuli stopped in terms of the development agenda, but also work hard to improve the enjoyment of rights and freedoms, especially for the opposition.
