Today the president of Uganda Yoweri Kaguta Museveni with his wife Janet Jataha Museveni have received their Covid19 jab #COVID19 with the #AstraZeneca vaccine at State House Nakasero.
After the vaccination, President Museveni encouraged all Ugandans who qualify for the vaccination to go to the health facilities and get it quickly.
“I encourage all Ugandans who qualify for this vaccination to go to health facilities and get it.” President Museveni said.
President Museveni went on to encourage those who don’t qualify for the vaccination to continue observing the SOPS, wear masks, wash or sanitize their hands and observe social distance.
“Those who don’t qualify make sure you remember to keep observing the SoPs; wear masks, wash/sanitize hands and observe social distance” said President Museveni after he and the First Lady, Janet Museveni got their Covid-19 jabs in Nakasero today
Although President Museveni said he is mindful of his and he will take his time to be vaccinated, he has finally accepted to be vaccinated.
