In an interview with a local television station, he said that he never asked for any money personally, but requested the Ministry to pay his producer who would master the song. This came after the Ministry of Health said his song ‘Tumbiza Sound’ was against Covid19 regulations and he needs to re-do it.
The Ministry then agreed and promised to avail him with 40M, an arrangement that has never come to fruition. He said he has not yet recorded the song because he has no money to pay the producers. I have never asked any money from government to do a song-Ezzy.
