Legendary Politician Captain Francis Babu has suggested that the ruling party, the National Resistance Movement (NRM) drop both Hon Rebecca Kadaga and her current deputy Hon Jacob Oulanya from the race for Speaker of the 11th Parliament.

While speaking during NBS Television’s political show The NBS Barometer, Babu said that dropping the two was the only way to restore sanity in not just the race but the Parliament and the country at large.

Babu added that Ssemujju is not the right candidate for the job of speaker of parliament either because he is just a spinner.

According to Babu, there are people who think that they are God’s gift to Uganda and hold the country at ransom with threats and money which have spoiled the politics of the nation and made it even more dirty.

“There are people who think they are God’s gift to Uganda. Intimidation, threats and money have spoilt our politics today “
