Musician Moses Ssali aka Bebe Cool has come out to praise the Ugandan President Mr Museveni on his speech about covid 19.
The Kasepiki singer said that so far no one globally has given a better speech than Museveni’s.
It’s not a secret how the singer is an avid supporter of the President having been present as one of the chief campaigners in the president’s previous campaigns.
The Gagamel CEO has always gone a step ahead to defend and lavish the president at every chance he gets.
He even declined supporting his own father in the 2011 presidential election in favour of Mr Tibuhaburwa.
In this speech, Museveni likened the covid 19 pandemic to a war whereby a person has less choices but to adhere to the rules available to survive.
“In a war situation, nobody asks to stay indoors. You stay indoors by choice, in fact if you have a basement, you hide there for as long as hostilities persist.” The speech read.
The speech which was delivered some time back was calling upon people to adhere to the sops in place and be extra vigilant to stay alive amidst the ravaging virus.
The same speech said that “in a war, you don’t insist on your freedom. You willingly give it up in exchange for survival.”
The speech further said that you don’t complain of hunger while in a war but bear the hunger and only pray that you live to eat again.
The war in this case Mr Museveni was meaning was covid 19. He also said that this war did not know the rules of engagement therefore people had to defend themselves at whatever means.
The pandemic has no respect for children, women nor places of worship but simply eats up everything.
Bebe Cool made the post on his Facebook page where it got mixed reactions.
President Museveni has always likened almost every situation to a war saying that it’s the only thing that he knows very well in his life.
