For close to two weeks now local singer Roden Y Kabako has dominated the news for a land wrangle he is involved in Busabala. The singer claims to have rightfully bought the piece of land from his manager Jeff Kiwa.
Kabako who seemed so bitter at the said perpetrators even threatened them a thing that got him behind bars although he was later released.
The singer talked of how he spent countless nights on stage singing and sweating just to buy that plot of land. He said Sheebah had been keeping his money for him and when it accumulated, TNS manager Jeff Kiwa took it and bought the land for him.
However he was shocked to see the area chairman conniving with a certain hajjat to take his land yet he has the ‘legal papers’.
However, an anonymous person who claims to be a neighbor to the said land sent a letter to local blogger Ray Supasta which was posted on his Facebook page.
In this letter, the writer said that this land initially belonged to a boda boda rider who died in an accident. He however had no children or wife and had given the land documents to his mother.
The mother later found out his son had been cohabiting with a woman. This woman was let to live on the land as the mother of the deceased forget a way forward.
The woman however connived with a fake LC 1 chairman and sold off the land to Jeff Kiwa and fled. The mother learning of this went to the rightful LC 1 cahirman and sold off the land to a one Hajjati who is claiming it now and has the rightful papers.
“While selling off that plot of land to Jeff Kiwa, the babe used a pseudo LC 1 chairman. And it’s the same pseudo chairman who was used while Jeff was selling off to Kabako. That’s why the legit chairman is saying he doesn’t know Kabako and that he has never signed for him on any document while buying any plot of land in Busabala.” The letter partly read.
The writer concluded by saying that Kabko should just know that Jeff sold the land to him well knowing that it has disputes.
This was after people had been wondering why Jeff who Kabako claims bought the land for him hasn’t yet come out to clear the air.
