Uganda Police through Assistant Inspector of General Police IGP Asan Kasingye from ministry of Transport and works has launched online application for people who want to travel outside Kampala for burial, medical reasons, departing or returning persons.
This was announced by IGP Asan Kasimgye through his official twitter handle.
This came after Uganda going under second covid19 lockdown and people denied from moving from one place to another.
According to IGP Asan Kasingye to obtain special permission to travel one must apply first.
“Any person who wishes to travel outside Kampala for burial, medical reasons, departing or returning persons shall apply using the online application to obtain special permission from Ministry of works and transport.” IGP Asan Kasingye posted
