National Unity Platform leader Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu has named Manjiya county MP John Baptist Nambeshe as the acting president of the party for a period of three weeks.
This follows a working trip by Kyagulanyi abroad that has been termed as official duties.
Nambeshe’s stint at the party started on the 20th of June 2021 and will run up to 10th July 2021 a according to the official letter from the party headquarters.
Nambeshe took to his Twitter page to thank his president for entrusting him with this role.
He said that he accepted the challenge ahead of him and won’t disappoint Kyagulanyi and the whole party.
“I thank you my Party President
for entrusting me with this important responsibility.
I accept the challenge, knowing that I have the full support of the secretariat and certainly the commitment of all comrades in the struggle.” Nambeshe posted.
