Media personality Katende Isaac commonly known as Kasuku has revealed that Member of Parliament for Mityana Municipality Hon Zaake Francis Butebi is said to be one who spread the death rumors of President Museveni.
It was on 28th June 2021 when social media was full of fake news saying the President of Uganda H. E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni succumbed to Covid19.
However, the state house said it was not true President Museveni is okay and in good health conditions. On top of that he even appeared at the World Health Summit in Munyyonyo.
During his daily show on spark TV, Kasuku said its Hon Zaake who started the propaganda and Ugandans jumped on it as they always do on social media.
“Yesterday social media was full of fake news saying President Museveni is dead as usual Ugandans jump on everything they are not sure of. Its Hon Zaake that started all this propaganda.” Kasuku said.
Hon Zaake is from the opposition political party, National Unity Platform and according to Kasuku it didn’t surprise him that the fake news was from him.
