Douglas Lwanga advises artists to be strategic in their works

NBS Television presenter Douglas Lwanga has come out and advised Ugandan artists to be strategic in their works.

This came after some artists like Pallaso and Grenade said they are looking forward to bring the most respected awards in the world like the Grammy and BET Awards down in Uganda.

According to Douglas this will be so hard if they are not strategic. People like Diamond Platnumz who have tried to reach out to big artists have failed what about here Ugandans who have never gone beyond Africa thinking about bringing down the Grammy Awards.

“Ugandan artists should be strategic in order to achieve their dreams. I have heard artists like Pallaso and Grenade saying they want to bring the Grammy Award down in Uganda. People like Diamond Platnumz who are trying to be strategic have failed so if you want a Grammy make sure you go beyond Diamond.” Douglas said.

Douglas said he is not saying this to discourage any one but at least young artists should know what to do in order to go places and bring the bigger Awards home.

It should be noted that its only Eddy Kenzo who has won the BET Award in East Africa.
