NBS television news anchor Solomon Sserwanja has announcement his departure from NBS Television to a new job.
He made an announcement using social media, Twitter in particular.
According to Solomon Sserwanja he will officially leave on 31st July 2021.
Solomon who has been at NBS for the last 6years thanked his workmates and his boss Kin Kariisa for the support.
Solomon Sserwanja will now be working as the Executive Director fir African Institute for Investigative Journalists.
“On 31st July, I will be leaving @nbstv. It has been such an honour to serve for the last 6 years. Thank you @KKariisa and the entire @nextmediaug family for the support. I will now focus on my new role as the Executive Director @AfricanIIJ, the home of investigative journalism.” Solomon Sserwanja posted.
Solomon Sserwanja has been an investigative journalist and was known most on his 2018 documentary with BBC about the stealing of drugs in Ugandan government hospitals.
