A few days ago rumor was ripe with news of how boy so tender Ykee Benda had walked down the aisle with diva Lydia Nabawanukka aka Lydia Jazmine.
Photos of the two all looking lovely in Kukyala clothes rained upon social media a thing that heightened up the speculation.
The two artistes and there affiliations did not do any good to the rumor apart from fuelling it the more.
They went ahead to splash pics on their social media pages only attaching love emojis which left people thinking maybe it was true.
Some of the pics even indicated that the two were kissing at some point and since they are all single, the rumor brewed the more.
Now the Mpaka records boss has said that even his own mother was angry at the pictures and called him complaining why her son had not told her about the whole occasion.
Ykee Benda says that he had to calm her down and explain everything to her how it was a stunt to promote their new song.
The Superman singer made the revelation while premiering this song titled Banange on NBS After 5.
“The viral pictures from ‘Banange’ music video pissed off many people, my mother inclusive. She called while complaining, and I had to explain it all to her. I told her to calm down and asked her how I could do such an occasion and fail to call her.” Ykee Benda said.
The song is one of the many on Ykee Benda’s upcoming album titled Kirabo highly anticipated by his fans.
His collaboration with Lydia Jasmine is already doing well having surpassed 100k views on YouTube just two days after it’s release.
