PLE release exercise on Friday to be conducted scientifically

Uganda National Examination Board has revealed that Primary Laving Examinations (PLE) that will be release on Friday 16th July 2021 will be conducted scientifically.

It made this announcement through a press statement that was released on 14TH JULY 2021.

According to the press statement, the exercise will be scientific because they want to observe the Covid19 standard operating procedures (SOPS) that were given by the Ministry of Health.

Media and communication channels both conventional and social will be utilized with a live broadcast to ensure wide access to the public.

“The release exercise of PLE will be conducted scientifically, in observance of the Covid19 Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS). Multiple media and communication channels both conventional and social will be utilized with a live broadcast to ensure wide access to public.” The Press Statement read.

It should be noted that the PLE results will officially be released by the Minister of Education and Sports, Mama janet. K Museveni at State House Entebbe with few invited guestd.

A total of 749,761 candidates from 14300 examination centres registered for PLE in 2020, 53%(395,855) of the registered candidates were females while 47% (353,957) were males. 68% (513,091) were funded by government under Universal Primary Education (UPE) program.
