The government of Uganda has taken over Busoga University as the public University.
The announcement was made through social media specifically President Museveni’s official twitter handle.
According to the announcement made, government will even pay shs15b loan that Busoga University has because they know what the money was used for.
“After a series of meetings, the government has agreed to take over Busoga University as a public institution with its Shs15b loan. We shall pay the loan when we know what the money was used for and If this money was spent on public efforts.” The post read.
The government of Uganda has constructed different public institutions in different regions of the country.
