The government of Uganda through the Minister of Public Services has declared tomorrow 2Oth July 2021 Eidi Adhuha a public holiday throughout Uganda.
The announcement was made through an official announcement statement released through social media.
According to the announcement, gatherings will not be allowed due to covid19 restrictions, and people are advised to celebrate from home.
“The Honorable Minister of Public Services informs the general public that Tuesday 20th July 2021 is Eid Adhuha and will be observed a public holiday throughout Uganda.” The statement read.
“Due to the prevailing Covid19 lockdown restrictions on gatherings to prevent the 2nd wave infections, the day shall be observed and celebrated from home.”
