The former Director of Health Services at the Ministry of Health, Prof. Anthony Kabanza Mbonye, is dead.
According to NBS television, Mbonye died this Sunday morning at his home in Buziga, a Kampala suburb and he has been battling cancer over the last few years.
“The State House Comptroller Ms. Lucy Nakyobe Mbonye with deep sorrow announces the death of her dear husband, Prof Anthony Kabanza Mbonye,” said presidential press secretary Linda Nabusayi on Sunday morning.
The deceased was Professor at the School of Public Health, College of Health Sciences, Makerere University and Uganda Christian University (UCU)
