Events promoter Mukasa Andrew commonly known as Bajjo has pledged to pay sports man Julius Sekitoleko’s three months rent.
He made this promise while in an interview with NTV television after Ssekitoleko’s wife coming out, crying to government and well wishers to help her out as their landlord chased them out of the house they were renting.
It is said that Ssekitoleko had spent four months without paying any coin on rent.
“I as Bajjo with my helping heart I am going to pay Ssekitoleko’s rent for three months. This pregnant woman deserves a better life and Ssekitoleko who is depressed and block will not do anything even if he is released from prison. I call upon all other people who can help let us help this family after all Ssekitoleko has raised Uganda’s flag so many times.” Bajjo said.
Ssekitoleko’s wife who is 5months pregnant, looking very depressed and weak said she has never visited any hospital for antenatal care and doesn’t know what to do for now while on Mwasuze mutya.
According to Ssekitoleko’s wife Desire, she said there is no hope for any help from government or the sports department because upto those time, no one has tried to reach out to them or ask how they are doing.
