National Council For Higher Education has releases a statement informing all Vice Chancellors and Principals of Medical Schools and Health Training institutions that Medical Schools and Health Training institutions are to reopen soon.
The statement was released on 6th August 2021.
According to the statement, the date for reopening medical schools and Health Training centers has been shifted from 30th August 2021 to 13th August 2021.
This came after President Museveni’s address to the nation last month commanding medical schools to reopen as soon as possible.
The statement reads that inspections will be conducted after re-opening and all students will be vaccinated from school.
“The date of re opening of medical schools and health training institutions has been brought forward from Monday 30th August to Friday 13th August 2021. Inspections will be conducted after re-opening . Arrangements have been made to carry out vaccinations at the school institutions.” The statement read.
The date for other schools and universities has not been said out. We shall keep you updated.
