Singer and Presidential advisor Catherine Kusasira has threatened to leave National Resistance Movement (NRM) after almost a year being appointed as a presidential advisor.
She said this during an interview with Spark Television.
According to Catherine Kusasira, NRM is full of jealousy and selfish people apart from President Museveni. Kusasira said she will forever support Museveni but not the whole NRM even after leaving it.
“I am going to leave NRM because those people are jealousy and selfish apart from President Museveni.He is very kind man and knows what he wants not like the people in his party. Once I leave I will keep supporting Museveni like I have been doing.” Catherine Kusasira
Catherine Kusasira said she has benefited from NRM not because of people in it but because of President Museveni.
Catherine Kusasira is one of the few artists that have come out and clearly supported President Museveni despite the hatred in the central region of Uganda.
