President Museveni almost played for the Uganda Cranes

Did you know that Mr Uganda Yoweri Kaguta Museveni almost played for the national team hadn’t it been for his big patriotic heart.

The President while congratulating the Uganda Cranes revealed that he was once a footballer but quit the sports field to focus on politics.

He added that he knew the tactics Uganda had used to score the goal against Rwanda from a corner since he at one time in the 1960’s took to the pitch.

“I congratulate the national football team on this victory. They used the right tactics and our goal came from a corner kick. I know these tactics because I used to be a footballer until (1966) when I changed focus from sports to the struggles of our politics,” President Museveni tweeted.

Well you have it there, the President has had a hand at almost everything and no wonder he’s good at tactics of fighting everything that stands in his way.

Imagine if he had taken that path.
