Fik Fameica’s manager reveals why the singer was bounced from South Africa

Local singer Shafik Walukaaga aka Fik Fameica was last week intercepted from proceeding further into South Africa for a concert that was slated for last weekend.

His manager Samuel Dimez according to Dembe FM’s correspondent in South Africa Bart Badru said that the Kutama singer’s pride got him packing back to Uganda.

It’s reported that the singer had to pass through Botwsana by road due to lack of credible official papers.

He was asked for official travel documents at the OR Tambo International Airport but had none.

It’s said that the Kawempe born singer instead pulled out a poster showing that he was slated to perform in South Africa.

The airport attendants just asked him to wait in the lounge and before he knew it, he was asked to return.

Bart Badru said that he however found Fik’s manager chilling and asked him why he was around yet his artiste had returned.

“I found Fik Fameica’s manager chilling here in South Africa and when I asked him what happened, he said that Fik’s full of pride and this is what got him packing back to Uganda.” Bart Badru said.
