Singer Pius Mayanja commonly known as Pallaso has hit back at haters who have been criticizing him for asking fans to contribute 100Million shillings saying all his genuine supporters will contribute.
He said this during an interview with NBS Television.
After Pallaso saw Nigerian start Davido’s drive asking his fans to contribute for him, he decided to jump on the challenge but unfortunately many Ugandans didn’t buy it. Some few fans have tried to contribute some money though it is not adding up to the target money.
Pallaso said he is not different from Davido and that’s why he decided to jump on the challenge to see how far Ugandans can go to support their own.
“Some people though I was not serious about the challenge but the truth is I am serious. I have no difference with Davido because we are both good artists. But some Ugandans don’t have a heart of supporting their own yet. I know my genuine fans will raise that money.” Pallaso said
Pallaso said the contributions are still going on up to Monday 22nd November 2021 and he will show the world how much Ugandans support their artists.
Pallaso has been the biggest artist in Uganda for the past two years giving his fans only good and hit songs after hit songs.
