Radio personality and now a mayor for Bunamwaya DJ Jacob Omutuzze has revealed that pulling out stunts is very important in Uganda’s entertainment industry.
He said this during an interview with NBS Television.
According to DJ Jacob, all the big artists in Uganda have been on top because of stunts. He said Ugandans move on so fast so to keep them on track you have to do something very unique that will keep in their minds for a moment.
“Stunts are very important in Uganda’s entertainment industry. I tell you if it was not stunts you would not see these big artists stay on top for a long time. Ugandans move on so fast someone has to do something they don’t expect so that they keep talking about them.” DJ Jacob noted
DJ Jacob went ahead and said some stunts are good while others are bad because some celebrities lose fans while trying to pull out some stunts which affects them in some way.
Jacob said he is a good example of the people who have stayed relevant because of stunts.
Radio presenter however said his relation with fellow presenter Doreen Nasasira is not a stunt and the truth is they are not in love together.
