Schools and whole economy to be fully opened in January 2022 – President Museveni

The President of Uganda Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has insisted that the economy of Uganda will be fully opened in January 2022 wether people are vaccinated or not.

While addressing the nation on 20th November 2021, many Ugandans expected some adjustments in the covid19 SOPs like reducing on the curfew hours, and opening up some other sectors but all this was not said.

President Museveni said the whole economy, schools, bars, concerts and others will be fully opened next year.

“The schools and whole economy will be opened in January 2022, whether people are vaccinated or not” President Museveni said

President Musveni didn’t only talk about opening up the economy fully in January, he told Ugandans to keep on going for vaccination especially the elderly, school going children those above 18 years of age and healthy workers.

H.E Museveni said no one should lie to Ugandans that vaccination of Covid19 kills, those making such statements are enemies to Uganda and all Ugandans at large.
