Makerere Community Church pastor Martin Ssempa has come out to reveal why he nolonger rubs shoulders with the National Unity Platform (NUP’s) leader Hon Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine.
Ssempa during a local interview on YouTube says that Bobi Wine’s association with LGBTQ community who fund his political aspirations is the reason as to why.
The controversial and outspoken pastor said that the musician turned politician used to be his good friend but when he started dining with these ungodly people, their friendship fell apart.
“Bobi Wine believes in homosexuality which is against religion. I am no longer his friend. He was a good person but he now receives money from LGBT,” pastor Ssempa said.
It should be noted that Kyagulanyi’s political aspirations have largely been foiled by these claims by his opponents.
It’s one of the biggest weaknesses used to fault the former Kyadondo east MP.
In one of his addresses regarding this situation, Bobi Wine said that as much as he doesn’t believe in homosexuality himself, he believes that every Ugandan has a right to being protected under the Constitution.
