The President of Uganda H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has advised the youth he normally refers to as ‘Bazukulu’ to stop having sex are a young age because it is poor mathematics.
He said this while addressing Ugandans about HIV/AIDS on World AIDS day that happens every 1st December each year.
According to President Museveni, he doesn’t see any sense in having pleasure for 15 minutes and contract HIV, and spend 70 years of misery.
He advised the youth to abstain until they get to the right time of marriage and this will help the ending of HIV/AIDS by the year 2030.
“To the Bazukulu, there is nothing wrong with you not having sex. It is bad mathematics to look for pleasure in 15 minutes and live in misery for 70 years. To all Ugandans, avoid stigma and discrimination against people living with HIV. It only escalates the problem.”
The World AIDS day in Uganda was spearheaded by the theme go end stigmatization and fight together to end HIV
It is reported in Uganda that every week they register new HIV patients 720 and a those are in the age of 15-28.
