Kyagulanyi blocked by security in Magere from accessing Kayunga

Former presidential candidate and National Unity Platform principle Hon Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine has revealed how security was deployed in the night at his home in Magere.

This is meant to bar him from going to campaign in Kayunga district for the party flag bearer Nakweede Harriet Kafeero in the LCV district chairperson bi election.

This morning, ahead of my planned visit to Kayunga District to campaign for our flag bearer, the police and military deployed overnight around my home in an apparent attempt to block me from leaving. Kayunga district RDC Ssempala Kigozi has already said that Bobi Wine is not welcome in the district.

President Museveni is also expected in Kayunga district today to campaign for Andrew Muwonge NRM’s flag bearer.

Meanwhile NUP organized huge rallies yesterday that were led by the party’s secretary General David Lewis Rubongoya and other MPs such as Betty Nambooze, Joel Ssenyonyi, Medard Lubega Ssegona among others.
