The Minister of Education and Sports, first lady Janet Kataha Museveni has hint on re-opening schools early January 2021.
She took to her social media platforms specifically Twitter to tell parents to prepare their children for school like President Museveni had said economy will be fully opened.
“I look forward to the re-opening of schools and institutions so that all our learners are able to get back to school and continue with their studies without disruption and also call for support from all stakeholders to the Ministry to enable us to achieve this undertaking.” Janet Kataha Museveni said
Schools have been under lockdown due to Covid19 for now 2 years fully.
Some classes had resumed mid 2021 but unfortunately the 2nd wave of Covid19 hit back and they closed fully again.
