Events promoters Bajjo and Abitex have requested President Museveni to let them host Christmas concerts.
While having an interview with NBS Television, Abitex and Bajjo said Ugandans are well known for partying in this December holiday yet President Museveni promised to open up the industry in January.
“President Museveni should let us organize Christmas concerts because it is the only period we have to make money. Ugandans always spend in December and I think this is the right time for us to find money for school fees.” Abitex and Bajjo said.
The entertainment industry has been under total lockdown for now two full years.
Abitex and Bajjo said President Museveni should be fair to artists and every other person in the entertainment industry because they also have families and people who depend on them on everything.
