NUP leader Bobi Wine has come out to say that his children are free to follow whatever career path they choose in life.
The singer made the comments in regards to his children Solomon Kampala and Shallom Namagembe.
The two were spotted at the recent Buzz Teenz Awards.
Solomon won an award while Shallom mimed her father’s By Far song to the excitement of the revellers.
The self proclaimed Ghetto gladiator said that he cannot impose his wishes onto his children because he also did not become what his parents wanted.
Bobi Wine said that what he can do is to offer guidance to them so that they make the right choice in their lives.
“Well my children are free to do anything they want. My role as a parent is to guide and groom them along the right path so that they don’t do anything that will embarrass them, the family or their nation. For instance my father wanted me to be a doctor and my mother wanted me as a lawyer. I however didn’t do so although I went back to school to pursue law in memory of my mother. So I will be happy in whichever path they choose to follow,” Bobi Wine said.
Barbie and Bobi have 4 kids together and have built quite a remarkable family together.
Being role models to millions of many globally, the couple is quite looked upon by many.
