The NBS TV exodus continues, Samson Kasumba quits station

There was a time when NBS TV was flocked with an incoming of journalists especially those that were poached from rival TV station, NTV.

It now seems the Kiira based station has been used as a stepping stone for some of the journalists to pursue greener pastures as many of them are moving out.

The latest to announce that he’s quitting Next Media Services is news anchor anchor, Samson Kasumba.

The overly confident Kasumba through his Twitter page said that he’s going to pursue a Theology PhD.

This is a decision he arrived at after consultations with his family abroad and back home.

Kasumba says that this is a painful decision but nonetheless has to take it.

This means that Kasumba will be following in the footsteps of the likes of Sheila Nduhukire, Mordechai Muriisa, Joseph Sabiiti, Solomon Sserwanja etc.

Today is however 1st April Fool’s day and the news can’t be trusted but we shall keep you posted.
