DPP to determine the way forward in Spice Diana’s case

Kampala Metropolitan Police spokesperson Luke Owoyesigire has revealed how singer Spice Diana’s fate lies in the hands of the DPP. Thia is after the case file involving the murder of a 27 year old Henry Nsamba was referred to the office of the Directorate of Public Prosecutions.

Owoyesigire revealed that they have concluded their recording of statements from either sides. It will now be the resident state attorney to determine the way forward.

Owoyesigire also revealed that workers at Spice Diana’s home who were arrested over this murder have been released on bail. They are now looking for the locals who carried out mob justice on the late.

“We have already finished obtaining the necessary statements from both sides. We then referred the file to the DPP’s office and we shall wait for the Resident State Attorney to determine the way forward. It will be him to tell us whether there is a case to answer or not. If there is any, a date will be set for the case.

The singer’s side maintained that the late was an attacker and thug. They made an alarm and the locals carried out mob justice.

We are now trying to identify the culprits. For those who were arrested over this murder, they have been released on bail and we shall find out if they were part of the mob that killed the late,” Luke Owoyesigire said.

The Onsanula singer is yet to provide an official statement about this case. Meanwhile the late Nsamba’s family want her arrested as investigations into the matter pend.
