Cindy reveals that she is not impressed by Nigerian performances in Uganda

The president of the Uganda Musicians Association (UMA), Cindy Sanyu has called upon Ugandan promoters to invest more in local artists since they are better performers than the Nigerians.

Cindy Sanyu, who performed at Tiwa Savage’s concert last month says local musicians need more support from Ugandans.

“Uganda is a welcoming country and it’s okay for Nigerians to come and perform here but the support you show them should be given to us as well. I am not impressed by their performances and I can tell you, we are better than them,” she said in an interview with local television.

Cindy also stressed that UMA has no mandate to stop the number of Nigerians performing in the country. They contribute to the government’s revenue.
