Princess Ruth Komuntale and her hubby Phil Farquharson are now proud parents after she gave birth to a bouncing baby boy.
This great piece of news was broken by the Omukama of Tooro, Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru on the 9th of September at a half past midnight.
According to the Omukama, the baby was named Jamari Mathew Farquharson Adyeeri.
Both the mother and baby are in perfect health condition.
Oyo couldn’t hide his excitement on becoming an uncle for the first time.
“I congratulate Her Royal Highness Princess Ruth Komuntale Akiiki and Phil Farquharson upon the birth of baby Prince Jamari Mathew Farquharson Adyeeri. I welcome my first handsome nephew to the Royal Family. May God bless both parents and the baby.”
Queen Mother Best Kemigisa was equally as excited for getting her first grandson.
She took to her Twitter page to congratulate the couple on adding another member to both their and Royal Family.
Kemigisa said that this birth was a significant one in the kingdom. This is because it happened at a time when Tooro is celebrating 200 years of existence plus its the same month they are celebrating King Oyo’s 27th Coronation ceremony.
Further, she also said that the new prince shares a birthday with his late grandfather, Omukama Patrick David Mathew Kaboyo Olimi III.
“Glory be to God for the gift of a first grandchild, baby Jamari Mathew Farquharson Adyeeri, born to HRH Princess Nsemere Komuntale Akiiki, Batebe of Tooro and Philip Farquason Amooti.”
“Significantly born in the month of September as we celebrate the 27th Coronation of King Oyo and 200 years of Tooro Kingdom. My grandson also shares a birthday with his Late Grandfather Kabumba Omukama Patrick David Mathew Kaboyo Olimi III.”
The couple who currently reside in the US legalized their relationship last year.
They had been together for quite sometime after Komuntale’s marriage to the late Christopher Thomas massively flopped.
