Singer Mikie Wine real name Micheal Mukwaya has credited himself for helping Uganda’s super star Eddy Kenzo with his career.
Eddy Kenzo rose to fame in 2012 with one of the songs Sitya loss that pushed his career further and across all orders.
However, Mikie Wine says before Eddy Kenzo hit with sitya loss he was already known in Uganda and that’s because of his efforts.
Mikie Wine said his collaboration with Eddy Kenzo titled ‘Yaniba’ laid for him a foundation in his career and he is glad they he has never forgotten about him.
“Kenzo had a few songs, but he was laid back, my collaboration (Yaniba) gave him the push he needed to be on top. I am happy he has never forgotten his roots,” Mike Wine.
