Hon. Eddie Kwizera, MP Bufumbira East has today collapsed in parliament during a a parliamentary session.
Panic and shock gripped Members of Parliament when their colleague collapsed during a plenary as EALA candidates presented their manifestos on Thursday afternoon.
Bukimbiri County lawmaker , Eddie Kwizera, was then lifted by colleagues and taken into an ambulance to hospital.
The cause of his collapse has been established so far but we will keep you updated.
The MPs are scheduled to choose nine representatives to go to East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) in Arusha, Tanzania.
