News has been making rounds on social media about how songstress Sheebah Karungi was reportedly arrested in UAE for indecent dressing.
The self styled queen karma had a series of concerts in UAE cities such as Sharjah, Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
All these hugely sold out and are being touted as the most attended in the country by a Ugandan artist.
However, after Sheebah’s performance, she was seen being whisked away hurriedly to a waiting car outside the venue.
Many concluded that the local police had arrested the singer and this was due to her indecency.
However, Sheebah’s manager Dirisa via a YouTube interview said that this wasn’t the case.
The people who took away Sheebah were rather her friends with whom she had travelled with from the hotel and they were taking her back.
He added that the reason for this was the many fans who had gathered outside and wanted to take pictures with the singer.
Yet management of the hotel didn’t want people there and was actually even switching off the lights to close the venue.
Sheebah also had a boat cruise to attend and therefore there is no way she was going to waste a lot of time interacting with fans.
This is a huge sigh of relief to the Sheebaholics who thought that their star had been sent behind bars.
Sheebah has a pending concert on the 9th of December 2022 at the Kampala Serena Hotel dubbed Sheebah Live In Concert.
