Bobi Wine’s Dubai concert ends in tears

The National Unity Platform leader Hon Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine has seen his concert slated to take place in Dubai canceled by authorities there.

This was a charity concert announced by Bobi Wine about a month ago.

Early today morning the NUP leader revealed how he had been detained at the airport in Dubai.

This saw him being interrogated especially about NUP details such as it’s members amd their contacts.

Consequently, Bobi Wine’s travel documents and phone were confiscated but they were later handed to him.

He was not released until after 12 hours being interrogated.

After being released, Kyagulanyi hoped that the concert would go ahead as planned.

His worries have now ripened as he was told that the venue they had hired Abu Hail Club stadium was no longer available.

The owner of it was told not to allow this concert to go ahead.

The 2021 presidential candidate had the Ugandan authorities to blame as he said that they had been working tirelessly to stop the concert.

This concert was meant to collect funds to help in facilitating Ugandans stuck in the Middle East to return back home.

It’s not clear for now whether the other planned concerts will go ahead.
