Singer cum politician Bobi Wine real name Kyagulanyi Robert ssentamu has been detained and interrogated in Dubai.
Bobi Wine revealed that he had gone to perform at a certain charity concert but she was stopped and all the plans changed.
According to Bobi Wine, he has been interrogated for more than 10 hours about National Unity Platform (NUP) and his political career.
He revealed that he doesn’t know exactly the reasons why he was held but he wishes everything is sorted out in time and let free to perform.
“In Dubai to perform at a charity concert to assist some of the Ugandan immigrant workers. Been held at the airport for almost 10 hours, being interrogated mostly about NUP! Initially, they confiscated my passport and phone. They have now been returned. This very week, one of the other concert organisers was also summoned and interrogated for several hours. Hopefully things will go as planned. Will give a further update. Thank you all for the concern!,”
