Songstress Sheebah Karungi is not about to let go of the hustle and its no wonder success has continued to knock on her door.
The self styled queen karma has now landed another achievement in her long list of business brands.
While launching her Sheebah Live in concert, the Beera Nange singer revealed how she had finally launched her own movie streaming app.
This is known as UGFLIX and it will be operating on the model of Netflix.
Sheebah revealed that it’s the first of its kind in Uganda.
It has taken her 3-4 years to complete and she’s so glad that it’s finally coming to operation.
Furthermore, the ex TNS singer added that this will be available to all people across the world.
And according to Sheebah her motive behind such businesses is to give many Ugandans as possible employment.
She added that she already employs over 60 Ugandans in her existing companies.
“This application has taken me about 3-4 years to complete. It will be like Netflix and the first of its kind in Uganda. Besides it will also be accessible by different people out there across the world. The reason I’m doing such businesses is to employ and empower as many Ugandans as possible. I already employ about 60 people,” said Sheebah.
Apart from her musical brand, Sheebah has other businesses such as Holic pads and Red Terrace Events.
