John Cliff Wamala bids farewell to NTV Uganda

John Cliff Wamala has bid farewell to NTV Uganda after five years of service at the Serena based TV station.

Wamala confirmed the development via his Twitter account on Monday evening,

END OF AN ERA

“Today I sign out of the Newsroom after 5 years. Thank you so much @ntvuganda for the platform. To the estimed viewer, words alone can never explain how I feel, thank you.”

“Good five years of dedication and commitment. Thank you so much Mr Wamala, wish you the best.”

Wamala joins Frank Walusimbi and Herbert Zziwa as the other Journalists that have quit the Serena based station this year.

During the 2021 General election campaign he covered NUP’s Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu alias Bobi Wine brutal campaigns.

In September last year, the broadcast journalist Wamala and his fiancée Saphira Nahabwe Rweizire tied the knot at Namirembe Cathedral. The couple was wed by the Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, The Most Rev. Dr Stephen Samuel Kazimba Mugalu.
