Minister of State for Education & Sports (Primary Education) Joyce Moriku has said schools will close on November 25, 2022.
This is coming two weeks earlier than initially planned (December 9) due to the Ebola outbreak n the country.
Some districts are already under lockdown but because it is third term schools in those districts of Mubende and Kasanda didn’t close down.
As the term is nearing the end, Ministry of Education had decided to end the term earlier to give students ample time to travel home safely.
“We are ending third term two weeks before because we want students to go home safely not like the other time of Covid19 were they got stranded,”
