Bizonto Comedy Group have come out to hail singer Moses Ssali aka Bebe Cool for helping to save their show which was on the verge of flopping.
This is after the show was almost on the verge of being stopped by authorities.
According to reports gathered, some sections of unidentified individuals tried to halt the show by involving those above.
These claimed that the show was politically motivated and therefore shouldn’t be allowed to go ahead at the UMA Multipurpose Hall in Lugogo.
This saw Bebe Cool step in and help the comedians out.
He’s reported to have made a phone call to someone above with authority.
The Wire Wire singer told this ‘above’ that the show being political was just a fabricated lie.
This was about 2pm on the D-day of the concert and after Bebe Cool’s phone call, the show was okayed to go ahead.
The show was indeed successful and sold out as it attracted a number of top opposition bigwigs.
NUP leader Hon Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi Wine was expected to attend but he’s currently in the Netherlands premiering his documentary Film ‘The People’s President.’
