Yesterday saw Next Media Services fire a big number of staff much to the shock of the public.
About 60 of these were shown the exit door at the Naguru based TV station.
Among some of the notable names included Sports analyst Michael Kigozi, veteran media personality Karitas Karisimbi.
Reporters Fatia Nassali, Jordan Mubangizi, Esther Namutamba, Elijah Turyagumanawe were amongst those sacked.
It’s said that financial difficulties at Next Media Services was the major reason these were axed.
The company couldn’t therefore pay salaries of these workes this kicking them out.
Next Media Services’ CEO Kin Karisa unveiled a 1.5 M USD to serve as the company’s new home.
Some sources however say that some of those sacked had bo qualifications, were deemed unfit.
Others were redundant while some were involved in love triangles at the company involving quickies thus the axe chopping them.
