Uganda’s renown female Sports Journalist Bagala Peace Diane is enjoying a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to watch the ongoing FIFA World Cup live in Qatar.
Diane who works with the two Bulange-based stations CBS (Radio) and BBS (TV), was doing the Luganda commentary for Multichoice’s DStv (SuperSport) for the World Cup before flying out recently.
The celebrated Journalist has already watched five games including two Round of 16 ties that saw England roll over Senegal and Tuesday’s match between Portugal and Switzerland.

Portugal Vs Uruguay, Tunisia Vs France and Korea Vs Portugal are the other three games.
“Its really fantastic,” Peace Diane told this publication.
“Watching stars you only report about but now in your vicinity is a really career changing fest.”
Diane covered the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt but the World Cup that comes every after four years is the epitome of international football.

She has cherished the atmosphere inside the stadium, toured places in Qatar and interacted with locals and other fans.
